The talented artisans that create Christopher Radko fine glass ornaments take great pride in creating these works of heart. Christopher Radko tempered-glass ornaments are noticeably strong and are solid to the touch. Unfortunately, this does not mean they are unbreakable. The ornaments need to be carefully maintained to ensure their lasting beauty. So here are some tips on keeping your treasures safe and sound. |

Cleaning When it comes to cleaning, gentle care will ensure that your glass treasures will be around for decades for you and your loved ones to enjoy. The paint or lacquer used on Christopher Radko ornaments is water based. Do not clean any ornaments with water, glass cleaner, detergents or other chemical solutions all of which could smear the finish. Instead, just dust off your ornaments with a simple feather duster. |

Storage/Wrap Ornaments must be protected from extreme temperature changes and humid conditions often present in unheated, non-insulated areas like basements or attics. Such unstable environments can cause stress fractures over time. Never store or display ornaments in direct sunlight, which can cause delicate pigments to fade. Instead, keep ornaments in a closet or some other temperature-controlled place. Wrap these fine collectibles in acid-free tissue, high-quality paper towels (we recommend Bounty brand) or cotton batting and store them in sturdy plastic containers or sturdy cardboard boxes with secure tops. |
